Ocean Ski Safety Course – March 3rd – Hobart
presented by Next Level Kayaking and Canoe Tasmania
This is a special Hobart edition of our ski and kayak safety course funded by Canoe Tasmania. This course will cover techniques suitable for ocean skis, surfskis & multisport kayaks. During the course you’ll learn the skills needed to become a competent and safe paddler when enjoying your local estuaries and beaches. The course will involve theory and practical components. This course is FREE for Australian Canoeing-affiliated club members!
When & Where:
Saturday March 3rd, Blundstone Arena & Bellerive Beach (meeting 10.45am at the carpark between the Fish Bar and Hurricanes Cafe – see map in course link below)
Theory component 11.00am to 12.30pm
Practical component 1.00 to 3.00pm
Ocean ski, surfski & multisport kayak paddlers of all levels
What to bring:
Paddling gear (ski/kayak, paddle, PFD, spraydeck, apparel, etc) and a change of clothes
You will be getting wet from 1.00 to 3.00pm!

Cost & registration:
